We are the grassroots group that represents the students at the Faculty of Mathematics of the University of Vienna. Our grassroots group is defined by our principles, most importantly the grassroots democracy. What does that mean? The best way to contact us is to send a mail to stv.mathematik@oeh.univie.ac.at. During the building opening hours you can usually find us in the Vektor-Raum (1.136) especially during the Plenum, but if you have specific concerns, it is best to visit the Journaldienst. At the listed times someone is sure to be in the office (1.135) to help you. During the Journaldienst you can also call us on the number listed here.

Students’ representatives’ work?

What do we (the Roter Vektor Mathematik) do?

• Plenum: A weekly open meeting in which we discuss everything that needs to be done or talked about.
• StuKo, FaKo, CurrAg, TenureTrack: Committees we are a part of with different responsibilites.
• Erstitut-planning: Weekly meetings for first semester students, which we organize.
• Party-planning: We plan different kinds of events for students. Those happen once or twice a semester.
