The 12th of May is Women in Mathematics Day, and we want to celebrate that by watching two documentaries on Wednesday, 20.05.2026, at 17 o’clock in lecture room 1. We’ll start with “Secrets of the Surface” (English with English subtitles, ~1h long) about Maryam Mirzakhani and then move on to “I am Sophie Germain” (French with English subtitles, ~15 min) about Sophie Germain.
